Mutiny - CS:GO map

Multiplayer Level Design  |  Level Art

Summary

This map was created for Mapcore's Exotic Places Contest 2019 which still is the biggest CS:GO mapping contest of all time. The map came in third place and got added to the game in 2020.

Having the map being played by a lot of people meant that we also got a lot of feedback. I used the feedback to iterate on the map and make it even better.

Mutiny was a valuable learning experience and I used a lot of the insights I got from it when I created the layout of Balloon, my next map.

Saw Mill - Single Player FPS

Level Design  |  Scripting

Summary

This is a First Person Shooter level where my goal was to create a believable saw mill with varied gameplay and cinematic moments.

I was inspired by the gameplay of Half Life 2 which I had just played, and the aesthetic of Twin Peaks which I had just seen.

I was very pleased with the space planning and the interconnected layout. I also really liked how some of the Wow-moments turned out.

Bell - CS:GO map

Multiplayer Level Design  |  Level Art

Summary

This map was created for CSMapMakers 2018 Wingman Level Design Contest. The map came in second place and has been featured on the Mapcore FACEIT hubs twice.

Bell is the only CS:GO map I've seen which is more units high than wide. The experimental layout worked very well with the 2v2 game mode and the challenges that came with it were fun to solve.

This was the first map I completed for CS:GO and it is still one of the most fun projects I've worked on.
